Privacy Policy

Goal! Quiz respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, which service providers may process it, and what privacy choices are available to you.

• Account data: Goal! Quiz uses Firebase Authentication and may create an anonymous account. We process a Firebase anonymous user ID. We receive your email address only if you choose to contact support.
• Online profile & leaderboard data (Firestore): we store an online profile associated with your Firebase anonymous user ID. This may include your nickname, leaderboard points / rating, and information required to operate online multiplayer features.
• Gameplay & analytics data (Firebase Analytics): we collect gameplay and usage events to understand how Goal! Quiz is used, improve gameplay balance, evaluate question quality, and improve the app. This may include game session start and end, game mode, an anonymous game session identifier, questions shown, question position within a session, answers submitted, whether an answer was correct or incorrect, answer time, timeouts, skipped questions, use of gameplay features, number of questions reached, session duration, completed or abandoned sessions, surrender events where applicable, content version, and related gameplay metrics.
• Analytics identifiers: gameplay events belonging to the same game session may be associated using an anonymous session identifier. Firebase Analytics may also associate analytics activity with the Firebase anonymous user ID used by the app.
• Device & app information: Firebase and other integrated services may automatically receive technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version/build, language/region, approximate time zone, platform information, and diagnostic or technical information normally provided by their SDKs.
• Online multiplayer data: when you use online multiplayer features, we may process information necessary to provide matchmaking and gameplay, including anonymous user ID, nickname, match identifier, match state, score or rating changes, match result, surrender status, and completion status.
• Advertising data (Google AdMob): Goal! Quiz uses Google AdMob to provide advertising. Advertising services may process technical information required to deliver ads, manage ad frequency, measure ad delivery and performance, provide rewarded advertisements, and prevent fraud and abuse. Goal! Quiz may also record basic advertising events in Firebase Analytics, such as whether an ad was shown, closed, dismissed, or whether a rewarded-ad reward was earned.
• Purchases (StoreKit): if you purchase “Remove Ads”, the transaction is processed through Apple StoreKit and the resulting entitlement is used to disable advertising in Goal! Quiz.

• Provide core functionality, anonymous accounts, online profiles, leaderboards, and multiplayer.
• Maintain gameplay integrity, security, and abuse prevention.
• Understand how players use the app and how game sessions progress.
• Measure engagement, session completion, retention, and gameplay trends.
• Evaluate question quality, difficulty, accuracy, timeouts, and gameplay balance.
• Improve app performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Deliver advertising and rewarded-ad functionality.
• Apply the Remove Ads purchase entitlement.

Goal! Quiz uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. The app currently requests non-personalized advertising.

Where required, Goal! Quiz uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising-related privacy choices.

Advertising requests are blocked until Google UMP indicates that ads may be requested. Depending on your country or region, Google may present privacy or consent choices before ads are enabled.

If Google determines that privacy options must remain available, Goal! Quiz provides a Privacy choices option in the app's Settings screen so you can review or change your choices.

Goal! Quiz currently configures Google AdMob to request non-personalized advertising.

Goal! Quiz does not intentionally use Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) for cross-app tracking and does not currently present Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission prompt.

We do not intentionally use information collected by Goal! Quiz to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Google and its advertising services may still process limited device or advertising-related information for purposes such as ad delivery, frequency management, aggregated measurement, fraud prevention, security, and compliance with applicable law.

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Goal! Quiz:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, Analytics, Firestore, security, and related backend functionality.
• Google AdMob & Google User Messaging Platform: advertising, advertising measurement, and privacy/consent management.
• Apple StoreKit: App Store purchases and payment processing for Remove Ads.

Goal! Quiz does not receive your complete payment-card information from Apple.

Delete profile: Goal! Quiz includes a Delete Profile option. When the profile deletion process is completed, we delete applicable online profile information stored by Goal! Quiz, such as your nickname and leaderboard/profile information, from our application database.

Our service providers, including Google and Apple, may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Such processing is subject to the privacy practices of those providers and applicable legal safeguards.

• Review or change advertising privacy choices through the in-app Privacy choices option when this option is required and provided by Google UMP.
• Purchase Remove Ads to disable advertising within Goal! Quiz.
• Delete your Goal! Quiz online profile using the option provided in the app.
• Contact us regarding privacy questions or requests.

We may update this Privacy Policy when Goal! Quiz features, analytics, advertising systems, legal requirements, or service providers change. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
