Privacy Policy

Goal! Quiz respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

• Account data: Firebase anonymous user ID; email if you contact support.
• Online profile & leaderboard data (Firestore): we store an online profile associated with your Firebase anonymous user ID. This profile includes a nickname (auto-generated by the app; you may change it) and your leaderboard points / rating.
• Gameplay & analytics data (Firebase Analytics): we collect gameplay and usage events to understand how the app is used and to improve the experience. This may include session start/end, questions shown, answers submitted (correct/incorrect), answer time, timeouts, game mode (e.g., category/challenge/online), category/tag, points, and session end reason (finished/background/quit). For online multiplayer we also collect matchmaking/search start/end, outcome and duration, and a match identifier (for online sessions).
• Device & app information (Firebase Analytics): device model (e.g., iPhone model identifier), OS version, app version/build, language/region, time zone, and whether the device is an iPad.
• Advertising data (AdMob): the app shows ads via Google AdMob. We may record basic ad interaction events (e.g., ad shown/closed and rewarded outcomes).
• Purchases (StoreKit): if you purchase “Remove Ads”, we process the purchase via Apple StoreKit and apply the entitlement to disable ads.

• Provide core functionality (account, online nickname, leaderboards, and online play).
• Maintain integrity and security (e.g., prevent abuse and ensure fair play).
• Show ads to support the app (and deliver rewarded ad features, if used).
• Improve stability, performance, and gameplay balance (analytics).

We use Google AdMob to show ads. We do not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt and we do not access IDFA for tracking. We may measure ad performance (for example, whether an ad was shown, closed, and whether a reward was earned).

We share data only with service providers:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, Analytics, Firestore
• Google AdMob (Google): Ads delivery and measurement
• Apple StoreKit: In-app purchases (Remove Ads)

Delete profile: The app includes a Delete Profile option. When you use it, we delete your online profile (nickname and leaderboard points) from our database (Firebase Firestore), remove you from leaderboards, and release your nickname so it can be used again.
